We completed AIDA** this August in Thailand and it was the best moments of our 10-days trevel, I'm serious!
Sarah and Richard are great teachers and nice persons. It was a comfortable and calm training, we achieved good results (especially having in mind that it was our very first time freediving).
Sarah was very careful to our fears and well-being during all the sessions, and thanks to her we were relaxed enough to pass all tests needed and enjoy freediving so much.

AIDA** and AIDA** Pool Freedivers, Ukraine
Coming from a different freediving background, Richard and Sarah had a challenge to "undo" all my bad habits. They did an amazing job. It was tough at times, but it's now so rewarding to freedive with good technique and within the boundaries of safety - which is something that We Freedive are excellent at. It's nice to have great comments about good buddying and safety whenever I dive/ assist fellow freedivers. Thank you Richard and Sarah for making a decent freediver out of me :-)
Keep the good work.

I had a 3-day AIDA** course with Richard and Sarah completed by a pool session. Great teaching, relaxed, safe and very informative, and wonderful dive spots around Phuket! learned so much new and got many precious tips on how to improve both equalization and fining technique. Thanks again Richard & Sarah:-)

Richard and Sarah are not only great freedivers, but also great teachers. They know how to take both material, and physical skills, which to them are (at this point) second nature, and make it possible for anyone to learn.

They're easily able to share the skill, and their love of freediving. My week training with them was fantastic, and well worth a trip to Thailand.

And now it's time to start training here using all that I learned!

A big thank you, Richard and Sarah, for that fantastic Freediving class!

I am still amazed at the progress made during the course thanks to your helpful advices, patience, sense of humour, serious training, video debriefing, and encouragement (I haven't forget the last laps of that CO2 table!!). I have learned so much more from this class than I expected when I enrolled and all this while having a good time! So thanks again , I wish you all the best (and lots of other dives with Manta Rays!)

Thank you, Richard and Sarah, for putting tons of technique and theory into my freediving. Suddenly I understood what it is all about, in a way. I thought practice and courage was the only way to get there, but your course taught me that training, while pushing myself, actually can make a large difference.

I feel that I am a much better freediver after taking your classes, and you have inspired me to do something I did't want to before: Train on top of all the fun-having.

Lots of people buy tailor made suits and dresses in Thailand - with your help I bought a wetsuit. I can't wait for it to arrive. I'll jump in the water, inhale - and go the last meters :-)

Thanks to Sarah and Richard I`ve really improved my freediving skills and performance. It was very demanding, but very forfilling.

I was really impressed by their competent coaching and instruction. Freediving is life-changing, and Sarah and Richard helped me to get a little closer to the big blue.
I have and will recommend We Freedive to other freedivers, and proudly wear their stickers on my fins :)

I gave Richard and Sarah a simple challenge, to achieve as much as possible in 10 days. I arrived in Phuket and was adopted as a student and friend, with both of them tremendously affable characters. With the Freediving I was quickly pushed through the AIDA 3* and moved to ticking off the boxes on the 4* also finding time to fit in a competition Freediver course. The pace of the training was always adaptive to my needs and continued to push me to learn, adapt and incorporate their knowledge.
I was totally at home during my time with them and now have some amazing Freediving friends.
Many thanks, MATT.
They say you never stop learning and after being in the scuba industry for years I thought there wasn't much more I could learn. How wrong I was. I've spent the last 3 days doing my 2 star with Richard and Sarah and learnt more than I thought I could.
They're both very Knowledgeable and have an enthusiasm that is infectious. They work very well as a team and seem to really want they're students to be the best they can be and are willing to put in the effort to make that happen.
Also fun with no compromise on safety.
Before I started the course I thought I'll do the first course to see what it's all about and stop there.
Now saving and practising for my 3 star in a couple of months.

Sarah and Richard told me before i began freediving that it would change my life and they were right! I did the AIDA* with Richard just on a whim, Im already a scuba divemaster and I hoped it would help with just being more calm, cool and collected in the water, which it did, but i didnt expect to fall so completely in love with it. I came back one month after my first time and have just finished my 2* and 3* with both Sarah and Richard and they were amazing! Fantastic instructor with tons of patience, skill and love of freediving which shines through. They trained me to levels I had never thought to reach with the perfect combination of encouragement, patience and just the right amount of pushing.(you dont try, you just do it.....so true I have learned) I have bought some specially made freediving equipment (lanyard and float) that were made by Richard and I would highly recommend purchasing these products from We freedive as they are tried, tested and true and made with love (for freediving) I am meeting up with them again in 2 months to complete my 4* course (and hopefully be Richards first 4* student :) and I cant wait. I highly recommend We freedive as a company and I very highly recommend Sarah and Richard as instructors, they know their stuff, you are completely safe with them and they dont mind answering thousands and thousands of questions :) (this I can definitely attest to! lol) Thank you both for the amazing education, experiences and the new love of my life, I cant wait to continue with you both in a few months.
Take the courses or just try it out with Sarah or Richard, you wont regret it....in fact it just may change your life.......

Sarah coached me to, and way beyond, my personal best in the static discipline in Dahab's lagoon. Her calm manner, encouragement and excellent buddying skills made the difference in giving me the confidence that I could make it - I couldn't have done it without her. I can't wait to someday make it to the Andaman Islands to freedive with them again.

I did the 3-day course with Richard and can honestly say it's some of the best money I've ever spent. Richard is an excellent instructor who knows when to push students but also knows when to relax them and take it easy.

Underwent, and to my surprise, PASSED my AIDA 3*** Divers course in Dahab last November under the ever watchful eyes of Richard & Sarah. The atmosphere was very relaxed and laid back, but at the same time SAFETY was at the top of the agenda and was never compromised. We had plenty of time in the beautiful waters of Dahab and I even got to NIGHT DIVE under a full moon (one of the highlights of my trip, the other was to dive in the Blue Hole). Also a Huge Thanks to Brian Crossland from DEEPERBLUE for pushing me to face and overcome my Nemisis, STATICS! You were amazing. Nearly forgot to mention the impromptu trip to the traditional barber shop, or more like Egyptian Nose Hair Pulling Torture Chamber. A great trip. Thanks!!!!!!
