Sea B – South East Asia Breathless Competition sponsored by Aquamaster and Sea Bees Diving

Dates: 17th - 20th February 2011

This is the 1st AIDA freediving competition in Phuket and is the 1st AIDA International freediving competition held in South East Asia. The competition is open to all levels of freedivers, everybody is welcome to attend and join in the fun. All competitors will be ranked on the AIDA International list of freedivers.

The competition will have AIDA International Judges Miguèl Vannieuwenhoven (CH), Richard Wonka (DE), Sarah Whitcher (UK) and Andreas Falkenroth (DE) residing.

The sponsor for the competition is Aqua Master and they have generously offered amazing prizes.

Agenda:

17th February 2011 from 12:00

• Event Committee Meeting at Palm Garden Resort
  This is a meeting for all competitors with the Judges with announced performances for CWT to be given in no later than 18:00. - Announcements will be possible to be submitted online before the 17th.

18th February

• Constant Weight with fins event (CWT)
• Maximum depth 80 metres
• Announced performances for Static (STA) to be submitted no later than 18:00

19th February

• Static event (STA) at the Palm Garden Resort pool
• Announced performances for Dynamic (DYN) to be submitted no later than 18:00

20th February

• Dynamic with Fins event (DYN) at the 'BIS' 50 metre pool
• Closing Ceremony and Prizes at Palm Garden Resort from 18:00

Registration

The registration fee of 2500THB includes: Transfers from Sea Bees Dive Centre to the boat and dynamic pool. Boat trip with food and water on board. Drinking water at the pools.

Sea Bees and We freedive are offering a Constant Weight training day on Wednesday 16th February. The boat will be going out to the competition site and offering training up to 80m with Richard and Sarah acting as safety for your dives. Book now for your place on the boat, cost is only 2000THB for Sea B competitors.

The closing Ceremony with prizes is 300THB per competitor including a buffet meal.
