» sunny green season
'Green season' as the locals call it, has arrived in Phuket, and I am very happy to report that it is sunny and green and am not sure why folks stay away during this beautiful time. I then think that advertising this as a 'Green' rainy season is the locals way of having some rest bite from the hoards of travellers that come to Phuket year round. However freedivers tend to not be so fusy with regards to a drop of rain so this Green Season has little to no effect on their mission to seek out beautiful clear warm sea to freedive in.
We have had the delight of teaching a few freedivers here over the last week: Lidiya and partner Maksym from Ukraine, Tim from H.K and now the beautiful familiar face of Jacinta whom we met in the Koh Lanta Freediving Competition 2010. Jacinta will be freediving with us over the next few days and we are looking forward to showing her around our back yard..i.e the Andaman Sea Phuket stylee :-)
